KSM and his fellows will use this opportunity to put the U.S. on trail. They'll have the world's greatest stage, and will put on a show we will not soon forget. The "rest of the world" that the left obsesses over will drool at the descriptions of "torture" and alleged mistreatment. Our enemies will scour the testimony for clues as to our intelligence sources and methods. But perhaps this is what the Obama Administration wants. As Andy McCarthy has speculated, the Obamaites know that they can't directly charge Bush Administration officials with war crimes. They know however that lots of information will be released at the trial, and are hoping that the international left will do their dirty work for them. Pure speculation, but it fits. Time will tell.
