Iran Rising

22 April 2010 No Comment

As Iran continues its determined march to becoming a nuclear power, President Ahmadinejad has called on Iran’s scientists to press ahead with “industrial-scale enrichment.”

Recently, President Ahmadinejad’s audience erupted into cheers and chanted “Allah akbar” (God is great), after he said: “I am officially announcing that Iran has joined the group of those countries which have nuclear technology.”

With this mind, please read The Pentagon’s Office of the Secretary Defense’s first ever report on Iranian military power to the U.S. Congress that was released on April 19, 2010. The 12-page, unclassified report provides further confirmation to Iran’s direct involvement with terrorist proxies and militant groups such as: “HAMAS, Lebanese Hizballah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Taliban and Iraqi Shia groups.” and most notably “Hizballah. Also included in this report is Iran’s regional troublemaking that affects the lives not only of its neighbors but American and NATO troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and Iran’s persistent efforts to undermine U.S. and the western interests.
